Click on the image or link above to take you to the 'Strike it Rich' game, where you can play by yourself, with your friends, or with family to test your newfound skills in gold prospecting during the gold rush. Choose your character carefully and see whether you can use your quick, critical thinking to make it to the end of the game without losing all your points!
At the end of the game, find out more about your character by clicking the link provided on the site or do some of your own research to write a short creative response (minimum 1 paragraph) from your character's perspective (policeman, woman with children, Chinese miner, British miner) and what they are seeing, thinking, and experiencing during the gold rush. (Hint- some of the previous websites/videos may have some ideas!)
